Harrington Hoists Congratulates Their Chris Hess
Manheim, PA - Harrington Hoists congratulates their Chris Hess, Manager of Engineering and Quality, on his position of Vice President of the Hoist Manufacturers Institute. Elected by the HMI members at the Fall 2001 MHIA meeting, he is moving into the second year of this two-year position.
A trade association comprised of manufacturers of overhead handling hoists, HMI traditionally has represented the U.S. domestic market but recently has expanded to include international markets.
As Vice President of HMI, Chris assists the President with duties associated with presiding over meetings of both members and the Board of Directors.
A current major project underway for the organization is creation of high quality training manuals for hoist operators and maintenance personnel.
Chris is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that will develop as HMI continues to grow and make changes.
In addition to his Vice Presidential responsibilities, he serves on the Membership Committee, is Secretary of the Engineering Committee and also serves on various sub-committees.
